  • How does your reselling program work?
We offer a simple low cost beginner reseller program.  Once you sign up for a hosting account, depending on which account you choose, you will have 'Add On' domains you can use yourself or sell to your friends, family or clients. You have full control of your client's accounts and support. We remain your silent partners, unless you decide to quit reselling and re-assign your remaining accounts to us.
Adding a domain in cPanel instructions:
    Login to your cPanel
Click: "Addon Domains" top row to the right.
Next to: "New Domain Name:" type the domain name you want on the new domain.
Next to: "Username/directory/subdomain Name:" type a username
Next to: "Password:" type your choice of password. (Write it down, because we won't know what it is to retrieve it for you.)
Click "Add Domain!" Don't do anything else on that page right now.
Your ftp login for your new domain uses the full login like this:
    username@yournewdomainname.com
    password (as usual)
... Instructions can be found in the
    User cPanel Manual.
... Also, you can actually see

  • What are my "login" urls again?
         cPanel:  https://207.44.194.90:2083/
         eMail only:  https://207.44.194.90:2086/
( you can also access your email(s) in your cPanel )

  • How to I set up an ftp program?
Note:  there is still a free ftp program at: http://freeware.aceftp.com/
For other programs, check our Resources page.
(There is a File Manager/ftp feature in the cPanel, however those who use multiple html editors find it faster and easier to use an ftp program to upload and manage multiple pages at a time.)

  • How do I set my own DNS (Domain Name Servers)?
         ns1.dakinehost.com   207.44.195.103
         ns2.dakinehost.com   207.44.195.104
Resellers can use our DNS or may also have their own company DNS for an extra 15.00 a month.

  • How many 'users' or email accounts can I set up?
Each account is assigned a user allotment. More can be added upon request, depending on the size of your account. Keep in mind that each user can not be given less than 1 mg of space.

  • How do I set up email accounts in Outlook Express?
cPanel has an automatic Outlook setup feature, if you wish to use it.  Otherwise, you can do it manually  like this:  In Outlook Express, in your top menu, choose 'Tools', then 'Accounts', then in the right menu, click 'Add', then follow these instructions:
    Display name: whatever you want
    Click 'Next'
E-mail address: the address you want people to see
    Click 'Next'
    incoming server 'POP3'
    Incoming mail: mail.yourdomainname.com
    An SMTP: mail.yourispname.com
    Click 'Next'
This is important: if you are setting up your 'default' or 'catch all' account, do it like this:
    Accountname: username
    Password: yourpassword
    Click 'Next'
If you are setting up an additional account you have added in your cPanel, do it like this:
    Accountname: the-username-you-setup@yourdomainname.com
    Password: the-password-you-setup
    Click 'Next'
    Click 'Finish'
Check your info on the account, click 'Properties'.  The highlighted line is label you will want to set to show what you want people to see. You can change your Displayed name here and add your desired return address also.
Be sure you check 'Include this account when receiving mail'at the bottom of this 'Properties' window.
    Click 'OK'
    Click 'Close'
    Walla!
Outlook does not limit the number of accounts you can setup.
